In 2022, Olympia Triumph launched a fully carbon fibre version of their established Electric Telescopic Pole. This was developed to meet operational requirements for reduced weight of the overall system and increased stiffness of the pole.
The electric motor control is easy to operate with gloves on and, in the event of a problem, the user can activate the folding handle to allow full manual control of the pole. This bypasses the motor and enables further extension and retraction. The user can quickly convert the pole back to electric mode at any time. Simple battery replacement procedure allows mid-mission changeover if required.
The Electric Telescopic Pole is rated to IP68. This enables the pole to be submerged to a depth of 15 metres for up to four hours and remain operational.
In 2012, Olympia Triumph launched an electric version of their established Wind Up Telescopic Pole. This was developed to meet operational requirements for reduced deployment time as well as improved operator control combined with a manual override system. The mark three Electric Telescopic Pole has many additional benefits compared to the manual Wind Up Telescopic Pole. It provides:
A quicker and more controlled way to deploy Olympia Triumph’s hook and ladder systems.
Improved accuracy: the user only has to stabilise the pole and operate the electric motor control, as opposed to manually winding the handle.
The rocker switch enables the user to extend and lower the pole at the push of a switch. This is a precise function, which offers superior control when extending and retracting the pole. It also makes it easier for the user to attach the hook to the target.
