It is with great sadness we must report the loss of our founder and owner Charles Tichy and whilst he stepped back from the day to day running of the business a couple of years ago, he will be sorely missed. He unfortunately lost his battle with cancer after fighting hard over the last few years.

Charles came to the UK as four-year-old Czechoslovakian refugee with little more than the clothes on his back. But years of hard work, tenacity and a keen eye for an opportunity lead him to create, manage and own the company that really began pioneering modern day boarding and entry equipment almost 50 years ago.

It is no mean feat to create a globally recognised and respected brand from the ground up, but this is something he managed to achieve and always with a smile on his face.
We are immensely proud of what he has achieved during his career and the business he left with us to carry forward.
