The Olytri 300 was developed more than 30 years ago in Germany to rescue people from cable cars. The unit is built in Switzerland, and is virtually maintenance free. It is simple and safe to use, with a safe working load 2 people 250Kg, BS EN 1496.
Safety – the leading principle of the Olytri 300:
- The appliance is virtually maintenance free and requires minimal servicing.
- During descent the rope friction slips around the main pulley.
- The rope is taken around the pulley 2 ½ times (wrap around angle of 900°), resulting in a controlled descent.
- The main pulley only rotates in one direction. This gives an assisted lift when hauling the casualty and rescuer together.
- The Olytri 300 design means the rope is held captive. This is achieved by the three rope guides. To demonstrate the control of the unit, a persons weight can be held with just two fingers.
Correct storage and visual inspection are sufficient for pre use checks. All parts affected by wear and tear are visible from outside.
Rope lengths:
Custom – for the maximum working distance required by the customer.
