Another Successful SOF Dive

September saw us attend SOF Dive in North Carolina, USA. It is the fourth time we have exhibited and been a key sponsor at this excellent live trials event, which as always was superbly organised by Patriot3. SOF Dive is a 3 day invite only outdoor diving event that provides the opportunity to interact with defence industry professionals and evaluate the latest combat diver and public safety equipment in an environment they were designed for.

Attendees benefit from live demonstrations and testing to provide an accurate assessment of equipment capabilities. This year’s event saw over 200 end users from 14 different countries attend and they we able to discuss and actually dive and trial equipment from 28 companies producing specialist dive equipment with everything from on the man equipment, rebreathers, underwater navigation devices, DPVs, propulsion devices all the way up to our boarding and entry equipment.

We had valuable discussions with end users and partners based around the difficulties and developments in maritime boarding operations, which we fully intend, as usual, to implement into future products. Direct user feedback is so important for us in order to develop new systems as well as refining current product lines. This is something we have done for almost 50 years, our products quality must be proven through action, not claimed through marketing, which is why end user feedback is so important to us.
